Easter Dessert Recipe: Rainbow Jello Layer Pie
This fun and colorful pie is made with layers of different flavored Jello, creating a bright and festive dessert perfect for Easter, birthdays, or any time you want a sweet treat that looks as amazing as it tastes!
Ingredients:
1 pre-made graham cracker pie crust
1 (3 oz) box each of strawberry, orange, lemon, lime, and berry blue Jello
1 cup boiling water per Jello flavor
½ cup cold water per Jello flavor
1 ½ cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip), divided
Extra whipped topping for garnish
Colorful sprinkles or fruit for decoration (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the first layer – Dissolve the strawberry Jello in 1 cup boiling water, then stir in ½ cup cold water. Pour half of this mixture into the pie crust and refrigerate for about 20 minutes, until slightly set.
Mix and layer – Take the remaining half of the strawberry Jello and mix in ¼ cup whipped topping. Pour this over the first layer and let it set for another 20 minutes.
Repeat for each color – Follow the same process for orange, lemon, lime, and berry blue Jello, layering each one as it sets.
Top it off! Once the final layer is set, spread a fluffy layer of whipped topping over the pie and decorate with sprinkles or fruit.
Chill and serve – Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing to ensure all the layers are firm.
Slice into this vibrant, rainbow Jello pie and enjoy a deliciously fun, wobbly, and creamy treat! 🌈💖
