Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Roll Dump Cake

An easy, cozy dessert made with juicy peaches, buttery cake mix, cinnamon roll pieces, and a sweet icing drizzle.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Bake time: 40–45 minutes
Servings: 8–10
Pan size: 9 x 13 inches

Ingredients

  • 2 cans peach pie filling, 21 ounces each

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1 box butter pecan or yellow cake mix

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls, 8 count

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional

  • Reserved icing from the cinnamon roll package

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

  2. Make the peach layer.
Spread the peach pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Add the vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then gently stir them into the peaches.

  3. Add the cake mix.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peach filling. Do not stir.

  4. Add the cinnamon rolls.
Cut each refrigerated cinnamon roll into quarters. Scatter the cinnamon roll pieces evenly over the dry cake mix.

  5. Finish the topping.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the cinnamon roll pieces, if using. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the entire dessert.

  6. Bake.
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the peach filling is bubbly and the cinnamon roll topping is golden brown and cooked through.

  7. Add the icing.
Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes. Drizzle the reserved cinnamon roll icing over the warm dessert.

  8. Serve.
Serve warm on its own or topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Helpful Tips

For a warm chai-inspired flavor, add a small pinch of cardamom to the peach filling.

Butter pecan cake mix gives the dessert a richer, nuttier flavor. Yellow cake mix is a good choice when you prefer a slightly less sweet version.

Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat individual servings briefly in the microwave before serving.
